SITCo Ski Instructor Courses are open to the world, and people come from all over the globe to ski in New Zealand.

12 April 2022, vaccinated Australian citizens and permanent residents can enter New Zealand and self-test on arrival.
1 May 2022, vaccinated visitors from visa waiver countries, and visitors from other countries who already hold a valid visitor visa can enter New Zealand and self-test on arrival.

Level 1
5 week Ski & Snowboard Instructor Course
This 5 week course is good for you if you don’t have a lot of skiing experience. You will only be sitting the Level 1 Ski Instructor qualification.
Even if you are a less experienced skier you might want to check out our 10 week Ski Instructor Course which is a good course for less experienced skiers and will give you more time to train for Level 1 and Level 2.

Level 2
5 week Ski & Snowboard Instructor Course
SITCo’s 5 week Level 2 only course is an ideal way for people who already have their Level 1 qualification, and who are now ready to move forward and train for and achieve their Level 2.
It is possible that you might have a Level 1 qualification from NZ, or from UK, Canada or the US. If you have a Level 1 qualification from overseas, don’t hesitate to get in touch and we’ll confirm that you are eligible to move on to the NZSIA Level 2.

Already got your own accommodation?
If you feel like you are quite an independent traveller, or you are already set up in Queenstown, then we can offer you all the training elements of the above 10 and 5 week courses, plus lift pass and transport, but with NO ACCOMMODATION.
You will still receive the full SITCo welcome and personal care, including full exam prep and evening sessions.
