1. Booking Confirmation

  1. All bookings are made with SITCo Instructor Training Co. (“the Company”) with a registered address at The Ski & Snowboard Instructor Training Co., PO Box 791, Queenstown.
  2.  A contract will be formed once the Company receives both the completed online application form and the required payment(s) in full (see Payment Schedule) in our bank account.
  3. This contract is governed by the laws of New Zealand.

2. Payment Schedule for Instructor Training Courses

  1. A non-refundable payment of NZ$200 is due at the time of course registration. Confirmation of your registration will be sent via email.
  2. A non-refundable deposit of NZ$2500 is required to secure your place. Prompt payment of this deposit ensures early confirmation of your place in the course.
  3. The remaining balance is due no later than six weeks before the course start date.
  4. All payments must be made in New Zealand dollars.
  5. All payments must arrive in our bank account in the correct amount. Any transaction or bank fees are your responsibility.

3. Payment Schedule for Performance Ski Camps

  1. A non-refundable payment of NZ$250 is due to register for a camp. Email confirmation will be sent upon registration.
  2. The final balance must be received by the Company to confirm your place in the camp. Once full payment is received, an email confirmation will be sent.
  3. All payments must be made in New Zealand dollars.
  4. All payments must arrive in our bank account in the correct amount. Any transaction or bank fees are your responsibility.

4. Cancellation Policy for Instructor Training Courses by Delegate

  1. Cancellations must be submitted in writing by the person who completed the application form.
  2. Cancellations made at least six weeks prior to the course start date are eligible for a full refund, less the non-refundable deposit. No refunds will be issued after this date, nor for any part of the course not undertaken or completed.

5. Cancellation Policy for Performance Ski Camps by Participant

  1. Cancellations must be submitted in writing by the person who completed the application form.
  2. Participants who cancel may reschedule, but no refunds will be provided for any part of the camp not undertaken or completed.

6. Cancellation by the Company

The Company reserves the right to cancel any course or camp. In such cases, all monies paid will be refunded in full in New Zealand dollars, irrespective of exchange rate fluctuations.

7. Subcontractors

The Company may engage subcontractors to deliver certain services during the course. Participants are required to adhere to the rules and regulations of these subcontractors while their services are being utilized.

8. Work and Train Employment

  1. If you are taking part in a Work and Train program, then the Employment part of the program will require you to fully achieve the required employer/employee standards.
  2. If the employer releases you for your employment for any reason this does not cancel or effect your training portion of the program with SITCo.

8. Travel, Visas, and Other Requirements

Each participant is responsible for obtaining any necessary work visas, travel documentation, and ensuring they can enter and remain in New Zealand for the duration of the course or camp.

9. Travel Disruptions through Government Health policies

  1. All government recommendations, both in New Zealand and internationally, will be observed.
  2. If you reside outside of New Zealand and are unable to travel due to government-mandated border closures due to health policies, you are eligible for a full credit or refund of your course or camp payment.
  3. If you are prevented from travelling due to legalities or actions by yourself, and these actions have interrupted your travel, then normal cancellation policies apply.
